The Mission of NYALEA is to support, develop & promote the professional fields of crime and intelligence analysis within New York State (NYS).

We want to support and assist the community of NYS crime and intelligence analysts in information sharing and network by developing connections and professional skills by facilitating training opportunities, best practices, and standards for analysts. The Association promotes the profession by creating awareness while acting as a liaison with other professional criminal justice organizations to promote, represent, and advocate for the professions’ interests across NYS.
